A Support Program for Academic Talent

We offer excellence scholarships for both French and international students, designed to encourage and support outstanding academic paths in the field of artificial intelligence.

This initiative is aimed at candidates with an exceptional academic record and a clear motivation to specialize in AI.

MIAI Cluster scholarship amount is from 8,000€ and 10,000€ per year.

Eligibility Criteria

• Proven academic excellence, demonstrated through transcripts and letters of recommendation from faculty members.
• Enrollment M1-M2 program listed here, at Grenoble Alpes University or INP Grenoble.
• A well-defined academic plan and strong ambition in the field of artificial intelligence.
• Regarding the M2 scholarship, the Master 2 programs include 2 semesters : approximately 5 months of courses and 5 months of research thesis. The research thesis, to be done as an internship during the second semester, has to be strongly connected to AI.

How to Apply?

• MIAI Cluster scholarship applicants have to complete an online application form.
• The submission platform for year 2025-2026 will open during April 2025.

Applicants must submit:

• A detailed CV.
• A motivation letter outlining their academic project and interest in artificial intelligence.
• Their most recent academic transcripts.
• One or more letters of recommendation.

Application Deadline

• Applications must be submitted by May, 30th.
• MIAI Cluster scholarship Committee ranks excellent candidates who have been admitted in bachelor degree, M1 or M2 at University Grenoble Alpes or INP-UGA for 2025-2026.
• The selection board will take place in early June 2025.
• You will be informed of the award results after each admission round.

Important :

• The scholarship is dependent on your acceptance in the Master's program
• You have to apply separately to the master's programs, following their application requirements
• If you are not accepted in the Master's program of your choice indicated in your scholarship application, then you are not eligible for the scholarship
• Please note that students will not receive an MIAI Cluster grant during their internship.
• The scholarship grant is allocated for the first semester only, and will not be received during the second semester / research thesis.

Un dispositif de soutien aux talents académiques

Nous proposons des bourses d'excellence destinées aux étudiant·es français·es et internationaux·ales, visant à encourager et accompagner des parcours académiques d’exception dans le domaine de l'intelligence artificielle.

Ce dispositif s’adresse aux candidat·es doté·es d'un dossier académique remarquable et d'une motivation claire pour se spécialiser en IA.

Le montant de ces bourses annuelles vont de 8.000€ à 10.000€.

Critères d’éligibilité

• Excellence académique attestée par les relevés de notes et les recommandations d'enseignant·es.
• Inscription obligatoire à l’université Grenoble Alpes Grenoble INP en parcours M1-M2 listés ici
• Projet de formation cohérent et ambition affirmée dans le domaine de l'intelligence artificielle avec pour objectif à la fin du Master, de postuler à un parcours de spécialisation en IA ou à un programme doctoral au sein d’un laboratoire de recherche de l’UGA.
• Etre présent à la réunion d’information sur le campus.

Comment candidater ?

• Les candidat.es aux bourses MIAI Cluster devront remplir un formulaire de candidature en ligne.
• La plateforme d’inscription aux bourses sera active courant avril 2025.

Les candidat·es devront soumettre :

• Un CV détaillé,
• Une lettre de motivation exposant leur projet et leur intérêt pour l’intelligence artificielle,
• Leurs relevés de notes les plus récents,
• Une ou plusieurs lettres de recommandation si disponibles.

Date limite de candidature

• Les candidatures doivent être envoyées avant le 30 mai.
• Début juin, le jury examinera les demandes de bourses selon le niveau académique de l’étudiant.e admis.e en L3, M1 ou M2 à l’Université Grenoble Alpes en 2025-2026.
• Tous.tes les étudiant.es seront informé.es de l’acceptation ou non de leur demande de bourse.

Important :

• L’attribution de la bourse dépend de l’inscription Master ou parcours ingénieur.e de l’étudiant.e,
• Les étudiant.es licence L3 doivent postuler à un parcours de Master, séparément de la bourse MIAI Cluster,
• En cas de non-inscription au parcours académique indiqué dans le formulaire de demande de bourse, l’étudiant.e n’est pas éligible à la bourse MIAI Cluster,
• Les étudiant.es ne recevront pas de bourse en période de stage,
• Le versement de la bourse se fait en une fois au 1er semestre de l’année universitaire.
