MIAI: Governance
A director Eric Gaussier, Professor of Computer Science at Univ. Grenoble Alpes, will be acting both as the Institute Director and Scientific Director.
- Once a year, a general assembly will gather all persons involved within chairs, programs, projects, training and innovation activities;
- A steering committee will regroup representatives of public institutions and private partners;
- An international scientific committee made up of international personalities active in relevant research, economic and education activities will provide overall advice;
- Three thematic boards will meet several times a year to ensure the operational scientific, educational and innovation management of MIAI:
- A scientific board, with one person for each of the seven axes + director + project manager;
- An education board, with representatives of the departments + director + project manager;
- An innovation board, with representatives of the various kinds of actors involved in the economic development activities of MIAI + director + project manager;
- An executive board will regroup the director with two members of each of the three thematic boards, together with the project manager. It will meet at least once a month.
